The Compliance Referral and Reporting Strategy describes the activities and processes which collectively enable the System Administrator to promote compliance and refer potential non-compliance matters to the Digital ID Regulator. The strategy covers accredited entities and participating relying parties (and their respective services) approved by the Digital ID Regulator to participate in the Australian Government Digital ID System.

The Australian Government Digital ID System (AGDIS) System Administrator Operational Handbook (the Handbook) is for all entities participating in the AGDIS and describes how participating entities work with each other and the System Administrator. It also details Operational Standards to ensure the performance and integrity of the AGDIS is maintained. The Handbook does not replace the requirement for participating entities to have a full understanding of the Digital ID legislation. Participating entities must also ensure they are familiar with any guidance or other information prepared by the Digital ID Regulator (represented by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, or ACCC), the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and the Data Standards Chair.

AGDIS System Administrator Data Sharing Principles.pdf 430KB

The AGDIS System Administrator Data Sharing Principles (the Principles) outline the data elements collected and retained by the System Administrator to perform its duties under the Digital ID Act 2024. They also specify the purposes for which the System Administrator stores, discloses, or requests data. Additionally, the Principles include schedules detailing the sharing of information with Participating Entities, other regulatory bodies, the Minister, and the Digital ID Data Standards Chair.
